Ideas to Design an Aesthetic Bathroom

Interior designing of the bathroom should be carried out with proper planning and care. Certain important points are to be considered before designing your bathroom. First and foremost comes the structure of the bathroom. If you have many visible pipes it will be better to change it or cover it up. Also decide on what types of sanitary wares and fixtures you will require.

Secondly, the supply of water as well as its performance should be considered. The kind of water you receive holds a lot of importance. Whether you live in an area where you receive heated water or whether the pressure of the water is low or high is also an important factor to be considered. This is because the decision regarding the type of showers to be chosen is based on these considerations.

Thirdly, decide on the style of interior design that you want in your bathroom. Do you want to go for the retro look or the contemporary one?

The current trade is to use minimal sanitary ware as it suits bathrooms with lesser space. You can also choose to install a mixture of fittings for both the eras. The only thing is to make sure that the design has unity. Textures and colors also play a crucial role in bathroom designing. Cool and bright colors like yellow can rejuvenate your day; on the contrary, warm and dark colors have the opposite effect. The colors used on the bathroom walls have a significant impact in making the room look either bigger or smaller. Cool colors produce an image of space whereas warm and dark colors portray intimate ambiance. Use of larger sized tiles in a small bathroom produces an illusion of space and makes it look bigger.
