Keep Your Bathroom Clean

It is very important to keep your bathroom clean – both from hygienic and appearance point of views. Cleanliness is next to God, is an old saying. So, to keep ourselves and our surroundings clean is also a service to God. But, there are multiple benefits of keeping your bathroom clean.

First of all, a neat and clean bathroom gives you a feeling of being in control and comfort as well. An unorganized and dirty bathroom is sure to spoil your morning thus, leading to a bad day in office. So, it is extremely important to regularly clean your bathtub, wash basin, commode, soap dishes, toothpaste and toothbrush stand, and flush tanks.

You should wash the bathroom tiles at least once a week to keep them free of harmful bacteria and germs. Regular cleaning also keeps the tiles shining and bright. A clean bathroom is a key to good health for your family. Always remember that bathroom is also a part of your house and you should pay attention to its maintenance as you do for other rooms.

Bathtubs and washbasins should be cleaned first with a semi-hard brush followed by a soft brush. Use any of the several detergents that are readily available in the market for the purpose. After tub and basin, comes the toothbrush stand. It is of utmost importance to clean the toothbrush stand regularly as it holds your toothbrush which you directly use the brush in the mouth. Any germs or harmful bacteria due to dirty upkeep of it might result in serious health consequences.

The taps and shower handle must also be cleaned at regular intervals – daily if possible. This is because several members use taps and showers and leave the harmful bacteria in it. In order to avoid this, ensure that all your bathroom fittings and accessories are cleaned regularly.
